Travel Buddies

Meeting like-minded folk abroad is sincerely my favourite part of traveling.

Innately social beings, what consistently transforms our vacation from fantastic…to outright awesome, are the many life stories and travel tales we learn, share and create with newfound travel buddies.

A perfect example is February of 2019. My husband and myself set sail for 9 days onboard the beautiful Celebrity Silhouette through the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, and Grand Cayman). Shortly, after we embarked out of Fort Lauderdale, a uniquely awesome group of co-Canadians embraced us into what has become a wonderful friendship. Without a flinch, we planned another trip together this past February, 2020. Thankfully, our vacation happened just before any travel warnings or bans began this year due to the current COVID-19 world shut down.  We are all safe, and healthy, and encountered no diseases on our trip.

Forgive my novice, shaky, not-so-perfect, attempt at a travel Vlog.  Though novice, I had a blast trying at least!

 With easy communication via social media & email, we always make a valiant attempt to keep in touch with fellow travellers we meet all throughout the world.  You never know who you may be able to bump into again, on some edge of our beautiful planet in the future. We sure hope so!!

For you? Now is the perfect time to pull out your google photo album and reach out to a friend whether or not you have made them on the road, and reminisce about good times had. Guaranteed, they are also missing the great times you shared, and look forward to the next.
